How to block any AI-generated 'art'
AI-generated content has been flusteredly risen up and dominated the art spaces with their mindless AI-generated Frankenstein slop. How to stop this from appearing to your feed or tiringly blocking/showing less each account? This is how it's done:
Go to your Browsing Settings
Look to the Muted tags
Add the AI-oriented tags or just by copying and pasting this: ai, aiart, ai_art aigenerated, ai_generated aigeneration, artificialintelligence, midjourney, midjourneyart, stablediffusion, inktober2022ai, inktoberai, dalle, dalle2, midjourneyai, dreamup novelaI, novelaiart, aigeneratedart, nft, nftcommunity, aiadoptable, aiadopt, ai_adopt, aiadoptablecommunity, aiadoptcommunity
Done.
Other way to decrease amount of AI submissions is:
Go to Discover AI Art on DeviantArt
Look to "Show more like this in Home / Show allocated amount" and click on that "..." right to the text
Toggle "Show less like this in Home".
Done!
Note: I also have made an AI account blocklist. Check here.
Tl;dr: AI image generators suck and so do all the major 'art' platforms. I’m trading the loathsome ArtStation, Twitter, and Instagram for Pillowfort, Artfol, and Inkblot. (And looking for other suggestions on galleries to try! Tell me where you guys are at!) I’m struggling to detach myself from long-time online home deviantArt, but I think morally and for our own good we should probably all gtfo from this place sooner than later. An actual lawsuit has finally been leveled at dA (for DreamUp, as part of a larger suit over Stable Diffusion) and I have some dumb hope it will spook sense into this site.
This is a long read, don't feel obligated. Like many of us, I've been working through a lot of things lately and writing helps me get my thoughts in order. If AI and the sorry state of art sites have been on your mind, maybe it will help you too.

So.
When I popped back online in November I was looking to rejoin the art community, to share my work again and reconnect with old friends
So, yeah, I had a job as a graphiv designer and I lost it because the company didn't really do very well (not my fault) so now I need a new one. Let me know if you have some money you're not using or whatever.
This year sucked, so good riddance!
OK, maybe some good things happened, but they're not even close to weighing up for the bad thing that happened, so 2009 better rock. It'll be hard since this years crappiness will spill over into next year (and the year after that and the year after that and so on etc) but i think i deserve a good fucking year this time. gimme. So happy new year, especially to me.
