Dark Times

I had decided to not draw anything for Samhain for this year, since those drawings tend to be overly complex and I am really not in the mind state for that right now. But then.... some 4 days before Samhain, I decided otherwise and started to sketch.... and although I had decided for a really simple and quick drawing, it quickly obtained more and more stuff. Indeed, whatever you inflict upon yourself, no one else could. But I did keep it relatively quick. I pretty much finished it in two sessions and they were not stupidly long. That's why it's quite sketchy, lacking details for the most part, and the setting is ummm.... surreal, yeah, let's leave it that.

I won't explain much. These are dark times, which is not a bad thing, but it can be heavy. I am not at my best, but I am focusing on an inner journey.... something I have needed all my life yet never found the means and strength.... and something that I don't know.... where it will take me. Something I shall absolutely not disclose, for it is far too personal and far too unspeakable. I am a loaf in a black cloak and witchy hat and I seem sleeping, but sleep often eludes me these days. Tiredness is there all the time, though. The cosmic-darkmatter ninetails-ninetentacles bat there is my best friend who never leaves my side.... and always watches. I owe them so very much. The Demon is someone I believe I have never mentioned (not in public), to whom I have a deep and.... unspeakable connection. I am not going to disclose his identity, and I am not very likely to talk about him (in public).... perhaps, ever. Do not ask me about him.

That's pretty much all. Now I will retreat back into the darkness. These are dark times and they are becoming my home.
