It feels good to be back at home after a long journey.
And right on the hill ^^ The hiking trail to the summit starts near Ginkaku-ji.
This was our goal and we did it. Guaranteed for the 319th time
We like to walk there, the air and atmosphere feels really good. But most of all I love the view over Kyoto!
The Temple and the whole region has something unique. Ginkaku-ji Temple is small but one of the most beautiful.
First, the Philosopher's walk along (highly recommended) and then visit this beautiful pavilion / temple complex with its beautiful garden, this is a great program for a half day. Who wants to see some Japanese everyday, then walked in the extension of the Philosophers' along the river. Oh, The park also includes a small path behind the Pagoda.
Who wants to see the whole temple complex in peace, should get up early, so from... 8:00 to 8:30 in the morning it is perfectly.
