Designer's day / 27 ABRIL 2023

Después de tantos años de estudio, desveladas, malpasadas y después trabajar para alguien más o por cuenta propia y aguantar el chingo de estrés, pelearse con las impresoras/máquinas/PC, hacer tiraderos de tinta, juntar el montón de basura por las refiladas, las cortadas, las caídas de regla ruidosa, los cierres inesperados de los programas con un archivo urgente y grandote a medio hacer (y genial si se guarda un respaldo, pero donde no, uno siente que se muere), que los HDDs internos o externos suelten el susto de la vida, que las USBs se mueren, sacar muestras de color/tamaños, checando papeles y materiales, correteando pagos, correteando clientes, entregando, yendo y viniendo... ¡Feliz día del diseñador gráfico! Porque algunos insulsos créen que la PC hace todo cuando en realidad también nosotros esperamos a que todo lo haga la PC, jajaja. Abrazotes a todos los diseñadores del mundo. Que los dioses nos bendigan con trabajo y con más paciencia y salud, a veces uno siente que se vuelve loco.

After a lot of years studying, lack of sleep, bad eating habits and then later to work as an employee or as a freelance and endure the shittons of stress, quarreling with the printer/any machine/ or the PC, spill ink on the floor (and get hands dirty), get the lots of rubbish after cutting up paper, the cuts, the noisy falls of the metallic ruler, the unexpected and sudden program closings during the designing of a big urgent file (and super cool if it get a backup save, but when if not we feel we're almost about to die), that the internal or external HDDs scare the fuck outta us sometimes, that the USB pendrives do die, getting color test on print, size testing, paper testing, looking for materials, running behind the payments, running behind customers, delivering orders, going in, coming back... Happy Graphic Designer's day! Some ridiculous fellas think PCs do all the world while in reality, we all designers also wait for that day to come, hahaha. Super hugs to all the designers in the world! May the gods bless us with more work to do and even more patience and health, sometimes we feel we'll go crazy.
