Just some basicshapes and lines as the foundation for what comes next. The pose I had in mind was sort of a boxing pose. Step 2 - Form Start figuring out the anatomy with blocky shapes. Thinking 3-dimensionally, adding thickness and heft. Simple shapes. Block out the form. Step 3 - Layering Just start filling details and mass be loose don't worry about mistakes. Hopefully for your own work you already know what you're going to draw so you don't have to worry about design. Follow your guidelines. This will reveal whether your initial sketch work. You'll see right away if there is anything that doesn't work. i work digitally. so I'll lower the opacity of my current layer and start redrawing. Adding detail, refining. You can also start to erase the guides as you see fit. I'd say my type of illustration is
