Over the weekend my mum and I went off to explore some parts of the Westfjords. It was amazing, the roads were mostly gravel, and in my little rental car it was kind of terrifying, but other than that it was fun. The drive was gorgeous. Mountains on one side of us, and water on the other. We drove from the school where we’re staying in Blönduós to Hólmavík, around a three hour drive. The drive actually ended up taking us an extra hour because one of us had to go back to the school to grab some stuff we forgot. I don’t want to point fingers, but it was definitely mum. Today I Jumped into a Volcano

Okay, so I technically didn't jump into a volcano. And I suppose while we're at it, it wasn't actually today, it was two days ago now. But the point still stands, I have been inside an actual volcano, and it was as wonderful and amazing as you would expect it to be. And also, a little bit terrifying, but hey, I was in a volcano! On The Road Again

So I've set off once again. Last summer was Japan. Currently I am in Iceland. Staying my second night in Reykjavik before heading to Blonduos.
Driving the Golden Circle today was a wonderful time. My cousin is traveling with me for the first few days. Then I'll be with my mum and on my own for a week and a half. So far the adventure has been amazing. I can't wait to see what happens during this adventure!
