THEY ARE ON A DATE even if neither of them sees it as one. Behold, my anime girl OC I made as a joke and got attached to. Hitsuki, the redhead, is mine. Kimiko, the pink-haired one, belongs to eerna on Tumblr.

Quick backstory: Hitsuki is a big tsundere lesbian who absolutely would rather die than admit she has a crush on the most popular girl in school. Kimiko, on the other hand, is a ball of sunshine that wants everyone to be her friend, so she's determined to make Hitsuki love her despite her cold nature (and also can't tell romantic love from platonic). This only makes Hitsuki distance herself more. Cue romcom shenanigans.

We designed these girls for a fun oneshot DND session (along with some other friends; we have a whole squad of anime girl cliches + one boy we would all die for called the Sakura XX Crew) and, like I said, got attached. We did want to make a full campaign with them (will Hitsuki and Kimiko see eye to eye? who can tell), but in the meantime I just decided to draw them on a date. Normally they wear school uniforms (bc this is anime) but I decided that since Hitsuki is a 90s anime girl at heart she dresses like a Sailor Moon character in her downtime. Kimiko is into the mori style of fashion but with more pink.

Anyway, I drew this partly to test out the timelapse feature on CSP! It's pretty fun, so I hope to utilize it more in the future. I drew this mostly in one sitting, though looking back on it now I wish I had toned down the foliage spots. I hadn't done light coming through leaves before, so I got pretty excited. Less is more, I think.
