Spent about two days on this, the pose is based of a concept art sketch from one of my favourite games I used to play as a kid, Dungeon Keeper 2, I gave the disk to my sister years ago and it just got re-discovered
The sort of music I was listening to was stuff like Run Boy Run by Woodkid, which Redex says you should all totally listen to (and the song that RBR is a sequel to, Iron)

Overall
Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis is my first time writing a real critique so bare with me please. First, I must say the effect on the background is what stroke my first. My eyes got caught by the interesting atmosphere your technique brought to this piece. The way the character blends with the environment despite being much more colored is a success on your side, I must say!
Even though it's based on someone else's sketch, this piece I find rather original and refreshing. In my opinion, the way the pic is done helps the originality just as much as the pose the main focus of the picture is in.
Overall a very good picture! 4/5 from me. I don't see any blatant mistakes, so to improve I say just keep it up! You're doing good. I hope this was helpful in any way.
