I supposed that since I am gaining a little attention here with my recent work, I should update my journal.  A little about me: I'm a university student studying Biology after a three-year stint in art school. Don't get me wrong-- I could "do" art. So many people assumed I was switching majors because I wasn't good. No, I was good. And I did great in my classes. But I enjoy art. And doing it seven hours a day six days a week sapped all the joy from it for me. Now I enjoy biology. I tried very hard in my hour drive today to decipher whether math fits into the science category or vice versa. If neither, then why? Where is the difference? I know you never hear about math equations gone awry, but aren't math and science both in pursuit of the same answers?And then I lost my thought train and stopped caring.In a related or unrelated note (This is what came into my head when I was going back over those thoughts.), I never want to be restricted by medium or technique as an artist ever again.
