It's hard to believe it, but my degree comes down to four more photos. That final shot, that last depression of the shutter. I'm not quite sure what to expect!

I'm pretty excited to announce that two of the photos of the Birmingham Fencing Club that I submitted to an exhibition were accepted and are now up for display at the University of Alabama Visual Arts Gallery. Considering this is my last semester before graduation, it really was a surprise and makes me feel like the education paid off. All works were hand-picked by international artist Willie Cole.

While this isn't so much a journal entry as one would come to expect, it's more a general warning and notice that I will be resubmitting numerous pieces of art after finding out that each image had an Adobe RGB profile embedded, which was causing colors to be off. Also, there will be retouching as, over time, I have learned more about Camera Raw and such. It will probably all be stealth and I won't be announcing anything about the individual images.
