One day late, as usual owo
Took me a bit longer than expected, but here they are! This is the first Korona auction and the last big batch for a while (unfortunately I'll have less time for adopts as December exams are coming). I finally didn't have the time to do the "special thing" I wanted to add to this auction, well it'll be for another batch c:
Also, as you can see, I removed some of the species' obligatory traits, like the luminous mane and horns. If you already own a korona, feel free to edit their design if you prefer them without it :>
I tried to write them a little story, so enjoy my awkward English and poor writing skills : p

This Korona has luminous eye-like markings on their wings and neck. That is an efficient way to scare off predators, but it also started to frighten off other Koronas too.

Gévaudan has always been stronger than other Koronas. At first, that made them praised for their exceptional hunting skills. However, Gévaudan must must pay attention to keep their anger and hunger in check, because otherwise strange blackouts occur. With time, other Koronas started to slowly reject them. Gévaudan knows that something isn't right with them, although they aren't sure what.
The original tale
There is a notorious French tale, where people of the Gévaudan region, in south-central France, were victims of vicious attacks between 1764 and 1767. Victims were often killed by having their throats torn out.
The attacks were said to have been committed by a beast or beasts that had formidable teeth and immense tails. Descriptions of the time vary, but generally the beast was said to look like a wolf but about as big as a calf. It had a large dog-like head with small straight ears, a wide chest, and a large mouth which exposed very large teeth. The beast's fur was said to be red in colour but its back was streaked with black.
The French government used a considerable amount of manpower and money to hunt the animals. The number of victims differs according to sources. In 1987, one study estimated there had been 210 attacks; resulting in 113 deaths and 49 injuries; 98 of the victims killed were partly eaten.
But to tell the truth, no one really knows if the killings were the work of a werewolf or another legendary beast, a pack of wolves, a rampaging dog, or the acts of a serial killer. The multiple interpretations of the tale inspired several adaptations in popular culture medias.

Fortune is a solitary Korona that travels from clans to clans to offer their divination services. Said to bring bad omen, they're considered an outcast and no clan wants to receive them very long. No one really knows if they really read the future, or actually have the power to weave the strings of Fate to his liking.
