My Bio

I used to draw comic book type art back in high school. A group of friends and I even drew and published a comic book during that time period, which I've put up on Deviant Art years ago. After that, I stuck to graphite and paper for most of my life, just to draw concepts, ideas, faces, and bodies. It's always just been a fun past time for me. Decades later, I'm coming back to drawing, and adding color with watercolors, colored pencils to better illustrate my ideas, imaginings, past lives, and adventures. Art is one of the hobbies and tools that I lean on when I have complicated concepts to express, and it will always be a primary tool.

Tools of the Trade
pencils, paper, colored pencil, charcoal, pastels, water color
Other Interests
Occult, ancient lost civilizations, underwater world, archery/marksmanship, archaeoastronomy, adventure, exploration, motorcyces, bicycles, sailboats, pirates, wenches, Asian cultures, and past lives
I managed to hit a milestone today. The only work I ever published, and it was when I created it in highschool, got scanned and uploaded onto deviantArt today. It's been over 2 decades since my NightCrane Comic Book saw the light of day. Back then, it was my first foray into creating a product, producing it, and then marketing and selling it. And ever since then, the panels, which I drew and inked on copy paper, stayed tucked away in a folder, abandoned in my filing cabinet for years. And then I gave it away to a neighbor who was studying film, to see if it would help him learn to story board. He never did anything with it, so finally, thi...

Well, after being around on Deviant for a year to get an idea of what it is, I've decided to put up my artwork on here. I'm no pro, self taught, and I doodle and design mechanical/electrical thingies, and draw comic book style more than anything else, so the nature of my work is limited. That said, after decades of nothing but pencil and paper, I'm starting to dabble into colors for the very first time! Pastels, colored pencil, water colors will be my playthings for a while now. That said, I'd love to hear from other advancing artists out there who aren't pros about tips and books/courses that you can do on your own time to get better with...

Hey, thanks! I was wondering what software do you use for your spacecraft design work? I actually build real life space craft, but I also enjoy modeling concepts based on the tech that I develop and work with.

I use Cinema 4D.
