I suppose it's time for a yearly bi-yearly message on your profile. I felt a bit called to leave one today.

I don't know if you went and died or if you just simply went for a change of pace, in a way this almost feels like I'm paying my respects///

It's a little embarrassing to read some of my older messages, but, rather than say "I miss you" I want to say "Thank you for the time we spent and the help you gave me to bring me where I am today". Honestly, so much has happened since you left our group!

I did drop out of school for awhile, like, 3 years ago, but now I'm almost 19 and I'm about to start going to college. I live with my partner of 3 years and living in our own place is on the horizon. It feels like a weird difference from the young girl in middle school who thought life could never change. My future finally looks bright again even when I still struggle with depression, and I truly think that I still have you to thank.

You were like a mom to me, after all. I can't imagine what I put you through, it was probably stressful talking to a kid who talked about death every night. But those nights you spent made a severe impact on me. I'm going to study to become a child counselor if I can afford it so I can help pay back the kindness you showed me to other children in need.

If you're still out there kicking, did you ever become a teacher like you wanted to? You sounded a little bit unsafe when I last heard about you, I'm really wishing for the best. I know that this message is probably not going to reach you, and you may not even remember me or care to respond! But that's fine.

I just truly, from the bottom of my heart, wanted to thank you for everything you did. I sincerely hope life is treating you well.

(Maybe this is a bit morbid, but if this page is serving as a memorial now I truly hope you're resting in peace.)

Has anyone talked to Jess/Kichi recently??? I haven't heard from her in six months and I've been writing to her on her email, but haven't heard from her since...I've been worried. So, if you happen to know how she's doing or maybe a new email she has so I can talk to her to see how she's doing, I would very much appreciate it. Thank you.
