I have been an artist for as long as I know. Well at 5 years old my mother was called to school. They want to bring to her attention that my drawing for a 5 year old was exceptional for a child that age. I continued drawing in my book throughout the years. In middle school in 9th grade I competed for 3 art contest. This contest was to pick three student from the entire school a scholarship to Puerto Rico prestigious Central High Art school. I won all competitions. I was moved and honored that I had discovered my talent at such an early age. I briefly gave 4 years to the US Army.
Later I found myself living in Hollywood, FL. I started tattooing. Actually I taught myself. Still my schedule was booked for months. Everyone in awe of my work. During this time I met my wife that had pursued a degree in Digital Art, Drawing and Black and White Photography. "Kelvin", she said can you believe how technology has evolved. Look at these images! They are not pictures, they are actual drawings. Same work you do on paper and skin. Well, they do it on the computer."I ignored her for the moment thinking. Well, I highly doubt it. This was about 2005 maybe. However, she did not stop trying to convince me. Convince me that, that should be my world. Jamie did have the back ground and reminded me. "Kelvin with your talent and also the way you easily grasp whatever I throw at you come on?" "this is just picsart, not even adobe! Let me show you the basics". We drew together in competitions weekly. Finally, I was on top winning these drawing competitions. I was then teaching her my techniques...drove her a bit mad. But, secretly knowing how much I impressed her gave me a bigger satisfaction. I am still drawing on picsart as yet. I have dominated the picsart world and now I am looking for my work to be recognized. This is my world, my hobby, my talent and most important a career that I love. I have not taken any further steps with other learning any other professional programs out there. I dying to get my hands into the world and continue growing. Kelthrone will be a familiar name in the house hold, with artist and professionals.
