Sad news today... Acclaimed American filmmaker David Lynch just passed away today, due to emphysema. I've read it in a friend of mine's film review on first-time viewing Inland Empire (2006), wondering if that "RIP" was a fact or not but then I went to researched it and I was shocked to hear that. His works were always unique & mysterious that all rightfully deserved its spot in the list of greatest films ever made as well the history of arthouse cinema. Eraserhead (1977) & Mulholland Drive (2001) are both all-time personal favorites that meant a lot to me as being true artsy cinephile I still am. Loss at words as for hard to express this devastating loss, may Lynch rest in peace yet may his leagcy continue to live on & mesmerize us all.... 🙏
