The Creek

Wow... this is lovely. The way you show light is absolutely wonderful, the cool shadowed parts of the rocks and shore are a great contrast to the bright yellow areas in the sun. I also love the way you make the hazy background, that's something I need to work on myself. And the hair... THE HAIR! It's absolutely perfect, the fly-aways and the subtle layering, and how super bright it is both accurate and a great focal point! Not to mention that this piece just stirs up a lot of nice feelings from me, it gives me those warm fuzzy memories of being a kid or watching adventurous kids movies. It's really nice since I've been in an artistic slump for a while, thank you so much for making this.
