yall i am so serious about ancient tablets handicapping you. i got several replies on that last status that, after I mentioned that I thought for years that I hated art but it was literally just the tablet lowering my quality of life, mentioned that they also use similar-aged tablets and have been hating art but not knowing why either. one of my friends straight up bought a new tablet after seeing the status and talking to me about it. Not only are modern tablets easier and more fun to use, plus if you buy a screen tablet it also functions independently as a second monitor, but you get double the detail in your art for a fraction of the time and less effort. If you don't want a screen tablet (yes you do i promise, i was originally anti-screen too) then the screen can just be turned off and used that way. My brand new tablet (huion kamvas pro 13) literally cost less than my ancient wacom did 13 years ago, it was only $210 and while that is a lot of money depending on where you are in
