This design is very basic and wasn't just made for the color alone, but for the story behind it. Basically, Dérick's friend thought that this very plain Linoone was a miniature of Chien-Pao, and at a glance, you can understand him.
So, for this one, the idea was ​​create an simple evolution for Linoone inspired by Chien-Pao, a regional evolution for a regional variant which is also in a way a Convergent Pokémon.
