Ok...so the new painting is done and I feel accomplished. Been a strange few months while I readjusted from getting home from Japan. Really would like to return there one day. I expect I will when I've got the income to do so. But for now, work this summer and a friends wedding kept me busy. Now that all of those things are finished I'm finally digging into other areas to move forward again.Sometimes hard to make the right decisions when you see so many doors ahead of you. Hey Everyone,Been out of the loop a bit since I've been in Tokyo. The Earthquake really was scary but I'm Ok. I've been through so many earthquakes here now that I'm starting to get used to building shaking all around me. Tokyo has been struggling to get itself back together since we've been having scheduled power outages in some areas and businesses have been closing hours early to help with the power. Japan (Tokyo) is Wonderful! But there are a lot of different things about this country that you just don't think about until you experience them. For example, in the US, I've always been able to find public bathrooms at most stores, restaurants etc. Not the case here. LOL! Now I know where all my major department stores are when I go out. They are the ONLY reliable bathroom choices. Another thing...always take the kleenex from the Ad people on the streets. Napkins are not always given at the small food establishments.
