Relatable Annoyances

This is something that has been on my mind lately concerning Gina and Millie.  Both are of their respective countries (Italy and France) have a reputation for not doing great in World War 2, France for surrendering very early in the war and as a result they became the butt of surrendering jokes or though to be fair the French soldiers fought gallantly but their command and tactic were insufficient compared to the German's.  And Italy for being just straight up poor with their military being top heavy, disorganized, outdated, etc and failing to invade Greece, preforming horrible against the British in Africa, etc and in 1943 they were basically like "THAT'S IT! WE'VE HAD ENOUGH!!!!!" and ousted Benito Mussolini (Prime Minister of Italy at the time and leader of it's fascist party) and switched sides to the Allies and this also as become a runny joke of "Italy always switching sides".  Even at the time Italy's poor performance was reconsidered by the Allies with them making jokes such as "How many gears does Italian tanks have? One forward and four reverse!"

And it makes me wonder if Gina gets really annoyed and angry when someone jokes about Italy's poor performances or even reminds her and same with Millie (Even though in my AU she worked on the Mid Sodor railway for a good part of her life but still worked in France first and went back after WW2) when people joke about France during WW2.  So I feel like these two would be able to sympathies with each other over people joking about their countries during WW2.

BTW Millie speaks some words in French with are "Oui" which means "Yes", "Nous" means "We" and "Gens" means "People"
