Description
Decided to kick it old-school with some fan art of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. It ended up having a vaguely Studio Ghibli feel, and I'm more than okay with that.
And now, STORYTIME.
One summer years ago, I actually played A Link to the Past from beginning to end in a single sitting. It wasn't a speedrun or anything--no tricks or glitches or shortcuts--just a one-day legitimate playthrough of a great SNES title. It took about thirteen hours (I probably could have beaten the game faster, but I had trouble remembering how to get the boss key in the first Dark World dungeon and then had to try five or six times to beat the Helmasaur King.) Altogether, it was an epic experience.
Anyway, here's my take on the iconic castle escape from the game's prologue. Let me know what you think!
