Description
Okay, so this next game show picture is a bit ambitious, and the show involved isn't really a typical "game show". It's a reality competition series. I'm talking about Expedition Robinson, or more specifically, its American counterpart known as Survivor. I'm already familiar with Survivor, of course. I've seen bits and pieces of it on television. It's one of the most iconic reality shows on American television, thought it can be quite brutal at times.
For those of you who haven't heard of this show at all, let me explain; In Survivor, contestants are stranded on an island or some other remote location, and they have to try to survive while tackling various challenges hosted by Jeff Probst.
For this picture, I thought to myself; what if there was a version of Survivor where fictional characters, creatures, and/or random people were selected to compete? The host of this version would actually be my version of the Norse trickster god Loki. Many of the competitors wouldn't know about him/them being a deity, though. Unlike the real version of the show, this version allows sentient beings of all shapes and sizes to compete (humanoid or not). Some of these contestants are all random, nameless individuals here.
The competitors here are...
- Luna Morikowa. As an odd rule, shapeshifters aren't allowed to use their powers on the "show". That's why Luna doesn't have her necklace here, as she had to temporarily remove it and give it to Loki.
- Rocky the kawauso
- Dorothea the selkie. Luna calls her "Dori" for short.
- TheNostalgiaCritic20's otter-sona
- A wolf-taur (lupine equivalent of a centaur)
- Aunt Nanner Otter
- Snowball the bird, unsurprisingly.
- Helga Hen.
- Ingrid Bellamour (Cyril Sneer's love interest, who only appeared in three episodes of The Raccoons)
- A female elephant centaur. She and the wolf-taur are friends.
- A pumpkin-head
- An Anthro Afghan Hound
- An akephaloi
Oh, and fair warning; my version of Loki has a penchant for breaking the fourth wall. He's likely one of the only few deities who has a lot of knowledge about many other Realms besides the one he's from. Because of that, he's well-educated about the pop culture of Midgard (aka Earth). After seeing a glimpse of Survivor, that led to Loki wanting to put his own spin on the concept, hence this scenario.
And no, I'm not doing a whole series of fictional characters in reality shows (that aren't game shows), so don't ask. I'm only doing one for Survivor and that's all.
Luna, Rocky, Dorothea, and this version of Loki belong to me.
TNC20's otter-sona belongs to himself.
