Hi, I'm Jurass1cSh1elds. I'm a self taught artist who loves to draw cats, dragons, dinosaurs, people, and creatures. I also like to read, write, and watch movies/tv shows in my free time.
My artistic vision has always found drawing something that exists holds me back from what I see my art to be. Something that isn't real opens the possibilities for design. In my life, I have had to draw many animals, from dogs to cats, and even though I enjoy drawing both of those subjects, the limit you have with those is thin. Even though you can stretch your imagination to its limit, a dog can only be certain things before it no longer is a dog. However, creating a creature that isn't real or has never been seen by the human eye makes the challenge much more interesting and creative.

MY STORY
I have always been an artist, drawing and painting whenever I had the chance. From pencil to paper, I would try my best to make a story through art, fueling my ambition as an artist. Even though I was interested in the arts, I was always held back by the feeling I wasn't good enough. Teachers would be too specific when giving projects, ruining the experience by asking to make artwork that didn't call to me. Even though art will always include doing things you don't want, being limited was hurtful and forced me to hide what I loved. I became determined to please others, but afraid of what they would think. It wasn't until the world went into lock down that I had time to adjust and figure out what I want to do with art, deciding to continue and open the possibilities. The following year I went to high school and was allowed to explore what my talent was, making art that was my own and still met the requirements. From there, I began to show others what I could draw and that helped me to regain my love for art. And as time went on, my vision changed along with my style, allowing me to draw unique pieces and fulfill my passion.
