This is me welcoming in spring a bit late. lol. Also reading outside is not all that comfortable as it sounds unless you have a cushion to sit on plus I have a pollen allergy.
The caption is basically how their friendship works. He will annoy her or poke at her nerves to get her to shed this nice-ness mask that she's put on all her life. She does find him annoying but also comfortable. What does that even mean? It means that as much as he gets on her last nerve, she appreciates being able to openly get mad and irritated. I wrote out this dynamic for the purpose of giving Georgie a chance to get out of her bubble.
Personally, I think everyone needs someone they can run to and be fully honest with. For my novel, Sebastian is the first person she is able to be this way with and he acts as a catalyst for the story.
