I've been taking an intensive Japanese course over the summer and it's fun and the teachers are so great but I've constantly felt a small part of me die inside. It's mostly because I've just been looking through a lot of anime stuff to watch and get used to listening to casual Japanese and then I pass by Hetalia, which was a big mistake because I see all these endless arguments and I see all these people refusing to even empathize with the positions South Korea took regarding the anime.And it's also because I want to ask these teachers so much about what they know about the events during WWII and I want to hear their story.
