I had an encounter with a beautiful sea turtle when snorkeling in West Bali which inspired me to make this piece.
I want to depict the scary feeling of being drown, a feeling that we can related to as a human because it's really similar with depression and anxiety which a lot of us has suffered with.
I hope this painting can remind us to feel more connected with nature and do what we can do even for a bit, like reducing the use of plastic and don't litter.
