Dear Parents,

We regret to inform you that several of the Year 10 students have been discovered drawing sigils on each other. We take such incidents extremely seriously; as you know, we have a zero tolerance policy regarding malediction, and work closely with the Occult Regulation Bureau to ensure unsupervised sinistral magic is thwarted as swiftly as possible. Any child found abusing the occult arts to harm students or faculty will be dealt with as outlined in chapter 3, volume 4 of the school induction contract, and as ever, arrangements will be made to return the ashes to parents if requested.
