Well, I wish I would  have started journal entries when I first decided to actually post anything.  Since I didn't, this first ones a little long.

I had a DA account for four months before I actually got brave enough to post anything of mine on it.  Well, I had been browsing DA for nearly two years just because I loved the art posted on it.  Then last August I discovered all of the stock resources available and decided to try it out for myself.  My very first photomanips are in my fairy folder.

Then here in the last week or two I decided to actually post some of my work to my account.  Since I was reading J.R.R. Tolkien at the time (I do at least once a year) I decided to start with a series on the Queens of the Valar.  I've done a few tutorials I've found on the web so these are a little better then my first attempts but I still have a long way to go.  I hope that by posting them I will get some useful feedback on how to improve them.  

The DA's in my favorites are what I wish I could create.  They're kind of my goal and I'm going to keep working at it. Luckily a lot of people that have some really great work posted on DA also provide tutorials in how they achieve their affects.  I'll always post links to any tutorials on DA I use.

I decided to go ahead and post my very first work as well so that looking back, I'll be able to see how I've improved and what I need to work on.
