Hello all, it's been a really long time since I even LOOKED at this website, and I left pretty convinced I'd never ever come back. However, after a lot of consideration, I'm giving it another try. I'm not 100% sure I'll stay long-term, but after being away for so long, it's becoming increasingly obvious to me that there just isn't a site out there quite like DA. It's upsetting that it was overhauled, and I don't agree with most of the changes, but it does have one thing that I haven't really found anywhere else; groups. Sure there are Discord servers, forums, ect., but nothing that really holds a candle to DA groups. I've been missing that sense of community focused around art and growing as an artist. Years later I'm still in contact with a lot of the friends I made here, and I can't say that about literally any other website. As a result of that lack of artistic community I felt, I haven't been drawing near as much, and finding the drive to draw at all has been a huge struggle that's

I made a journal explaining why Giraffe Sharks are closing here: As for Shishoodles, because I believe everyone who owns one followed me at some point on this account, I'm changing them to an Open Species. All the guidelines are still in place, but Shishoodles are now free to make! I'm going to be taking down the masterlist and official group, likely sometime tonight.
