My Winter Wonderland

As I walk to class on this frigid day, I can’t help but notice how my toes are squashed in my slightly too small rain boots, how my legs are cold from the icy water being kicked up by said boots, the people slipping and sliding all around me on the icy pavement brought on by last night's freezing rain. But there's also the way the branches on every tree and bush are encased in a thick layer of ice, every barren tree glittering in the dull morning sunlight.
