JJBA: Send flying

Hello friends,

Im back again with something JoJo related. I noticed that I haven’t drawn something of Journee in a while and I also really wanted to try myself on some action poses, so I took the opportunity to draw both.

I searched around for some references and immediately started sketching. I also took it as the perfect opportunity to show off the slight redesign of both Journee and her stand Under Pressure.

After working further on Journees part, I decided that Under Pressure needed an update that would fit in with the later narrative of the story. So have this redesign, I took a lot of inspiration from various Mecha designs and of course various types of knight armor. However even tho I kept the knight theme I decided to add a little something corresponding to Journees Hamon abilities, that are essentially flowing through her stand.

So I made Under Pressures skin a bit darker as I wanted to emulate burned wood or charcoal, that’s also the reason that UP now has these burnmarks on its cheeks and back, like a furnace or a blacksmiths workplace. However I kept the vine motive for the arms and hair as it is still an important part of Journees overall ability and acts as an important factor for UP later evolution in the final boss fight agains her Jofoe Barnaby.

As for Journee, I only changed some of her clothes, as Journee is really into everything Spacecore I wanted her clothes to represent both the night and day sky.
