Hi I'm looking for an illustration for the cover of my almost finished interactive novel (choose your own adventure) based on the ancient Greek tragedy of Oedipus Rex.

I'm looking for a picture of Oedipus and the sphinx when she finds him on the mountain trail to ask her riddles. I can provide more info on appearance etc and/or link to the book, size of the picture needed, show examples of others that have been done if needed. I am also happy to credit you for the illustration in the game.

With or without background. (Basic background/ colour background is ok). I'm open to considering a range of styles from traditional to digital but no cutsey cartoons please given the rather serious tone of the book. I'm fine with buying to right to use an existing picture for this if you have something suitable. (I don't need exclusive rights). If that's the case it must not have nudity or be able to be altered as the app stores are funny about those kinds of things and I wont be able to use it. I have a limited budget unfortunately. (Would love to spend hundreds on a cover but just can't at the moment). Must have good grasp of anatomy and shading if applying.

If you think this sounds like something you'd like to do, please let me know. An approx commission range would also be appreciated if possible. (I know it may vary a bit depending on what is done, but an estimate would be good). Thanks
