Sela, Keepers Leader

A few years shy of her 500th birthday, Sela is the leader of the Keepers Guild and de facto head of Tabira. Beneath the kindly, rooted exterior lies a sharp mind, filled with memories of countless battles the old crab had participated in. The last time Sela partook in combat was defending her beloved town from Glennish invaders, a skirmish that resulted in many deaths, including the parents of her adopted daughter, Gemma.

Being a veteran of many historic battles, Sela encourages peace and altruism. She cares especially deeply for the welfare of future generations of Tabirans. The weight of the soil upon her back may keep Sela from being more active than she'd like, but she keeps up with the news and happenings of Tabira and holds bi-weekly meetings with the fellow Guild Members to discuss current and upcoming events, and ways to resolve various conflicts.

The little Diglett who resides in Sela's back is her most dedicated assistant. His name is Zebadiah, or Zeb.
