War Magus Iyapo

Backstory: A healer and warrior of some skill, Iyapo has experienced modest success as an explorer, aiding Clan Chevalier in mapping out previously unseen portions of High Lagaard's Yggdrasil Labyrinth before embarking on a journey to Aslarga. On his return trip, Iyapo took a rest from his lengthy journey within the nearby land of Tharsis, meeting the Nightseeker Lilith. Enamoring her with stories of his travels, the two set out back to High Lagaard, fighting monsters and growing closer as friends along the way. Now an adventuring duo, the pair tend to go wherever the wind takes them, discussion of a trip to Armoroad coming up frequently in talk of their next destination.

Design: Iyapo's headress was meant to evoke a witch doctor sort of feel, which seemed appropriate for the War Magus. His cloak is the traditional War Magus attire, with the EO4 Landsknecht's upper body armor underneath it and EO1/2 Landsknecht's leg guards as a nod to his sub-class.

Writer's Notes: Coming up with a history for such a blank slate character is a little difficult, especially given the lack of insight the games provide into the world of Etrian Odyssey. While I think I have something decent here with Iyapo, I hope I can steadily continue to refine his backstory and character traits until they're something I can feel proud of. At present, I'm still trying to determine just what kind of person he is.
