I am writing this here because my father does not have access to see this page and by expressing myself here, it will not stir up more problems. That being said, I have never been so disappointed and hurt as I have by my father's recent decisions. Against all advice and counsel from friends and family, he has stubbonly gone through with a relationship that everyone thinks is a bad idea. It has been just over two months since my mother's funeral. I am starting to heal from the loss, the pain is lessening day by day, and there are some days that I can go for hours before I remember that she's gone. Then my dad drops a bombshell on me and everything came crashing down. He's getting remarried next month. It's been one and a half months since my mom died. I know that's not a lot of time to readjust to life without her, but I'm really struggling. My dad came to visit for a week and it was really difficult. I think it was too soon. I didn't know how to react to having him here without mom. I haven't gotten used to seeing him alone and her not being there. He's going to be busy traveling, first to Oklahoma to visit friends, then to England for 5 weeks, then to Texas for 4 months.
