Appalachiosaurus montgomeriensis

Appalachiosaurus is a tyrannosauroid dinosaur. It is a primitive member of the group, although not as basal as smaller animals like Guanlong. Appalachiosaurus lived 77 million years ago, proving that the derived tyrants weren't the only members of this group to survive late into the cretaceous period. It is not known what integument Appalachiosaurus possessed, but since it is fairly basal and the only known specimen is a juvenile, I chose to reconstruct it with filaments.
