Description
Part of my final project in the school of Graphic Design, TEI of Athens, 2009. The fantasy world Sygos seen from the eyes of an enormous black dragon flying over the planet.
Modeled, textured and animated in 3dsmax2009. I had to render it in 13 parts which then were merged in Sony Vegas Movie Studio. The music was composed and produced in the Illusions Recording Studio in Athens.
Based on a concept and hand-sketched map by ~KabaMaroudis. The 3d model, animation and soundtrack are my work. Our project was the design of an RPG game, tabletop and electronic version, so there are many documents, sketches by ~KabaMaroudis, the rule book, website and 3d model of the main character and hero of the game, that accompany this animation.
We originally intended to add the sound of wings and have a male voice narration of the history and mythology of the world, but due to strict deadlines we had to sacrifice that feature. Hopefully we will be able to add it at a later time.

When the moon was behind the volcano, I think you should've put a very weak glow to the moon, and sortof on the edges of the mountain, to signify the light from the moon bouncing off. Other than the errors with things like sfx (I understand there wasn't time), this was very well done. I'm looking forward to more like this!
