Not so Perfect

I'm trying to stop being so perfect with my work

I wanted to fix quite a bit and capture a more realistic portrait but I had way too much fun messing around with this. And I guess that's what Art is about? Having fun and releasing your emotions through the process of art.

I used to bash myself because I couldnt achieve a high level of realism in my work and along the way I just stopped caring about it as a whole. Yes, I did manage to draw a few portraits at a realistic level but where was the technique? Where were the strokes? The damn emotions? I felt like I sold myself a bit when I dabbled in realism like that. Not anymore! I might still try and make art that looks photorealistic but I wont focus on making that my priority. I need to loosen up and have fun. I need to stop being so bloody perfect. End rant. Wow Im so deep bruh (oh and this was done in)
