Chapter Five The Rescue An empty hallway awaits us behind the door. Old, wooden walls stretch up from a faded carpet, and a layer of dust coats everything. Hera gives me a thumbs up, showing that it’s safe to go out. We sneak through the hallway, past locked doors leading into unknown rooms. At the end, we reach a twisting spiral staircase.
