Illusion of Freedom

This is a project I started at the urging of the woodwork teacher, Göran, since I spent time there with my students and he thought I should have something to do. During the following two 40-minutes long woodshop classes and three full days during Theme Week at our school I began, and finished, with this humungous project. It was fun, but incredibly tiring and it was a pain in the ass to carry this thing home later, since the wings were wider from tip to tip than I could reach with my arms spread wide...

But all in all, it was a very rewarding project, I loved seeing it through from start to finished product and it looks pretty badass hanging in my living room.
