Description
The skull of a lindwurm or knucker (two names for the sames species, but maybe two subspecies)
Umbragrus is a rather small dragon, with just up to 2,4 m in length. It's a very slender animal and a was once the most common part of the European draco fauna.
Like it's much larger relative Conficiosaurus from East Asia, this dragon has short tendrils which it uses to detect even slight movement in murky water, you can see here the
foramina for the nerve endings. Also note how relatively small the para-nasal fenestra is, the nostrils of this species are high and far back on the snout which allows easy hunting from the shore with the teeth and tendrils already underwater.
