I feel that. For me, it always helps to periodically remind myself that Likes, Reposts, Karma, etc. are all pointless. Sure, my lizard brain sees big number & hits a lil’ dopamine, but at the end of the day, it affects nothing.

I make stuff because I just like contributing to the community.

Social Media can definitely suck us all in and focus on the “Grow my Following” & competitive aspects, but stepping away for a bit is fine too. Plenty of artists step away just because it’s not their vibe anymore, like LewdZko, and that’s totally fine. People SHOULD do what’s best for them and their current situations - Not try and do stuff just so random internet strangers don’t feel “Let Down.”

Do art you like because YOU like it.

If you can look back at your stuff and think “Yeah, I AM proud of what I’ve accomplished”, then you’ve already done something so amazing that the majority of people on this world don’t. And for what it’s worth, I and many others think your work, your talents as an artist, are amazing!
