Pasted across my other platforms. Here's what 2022 has dished out for me so far. (Original posting April 1st) This has been a difficult one to write. Since there’s no correct way to get it off my chest or rehearse how to get it right, I’m going to go for it anyway. During the latter half of 2021 I had been experiencing pain in the area of my upper (and under the) left arm. I didn’t think much of it and carried on as normal. I wrote it off as possibly a pulled ligament, an infection, or maybe a trapped nerve. Christmas season approached, and I worked through a lot of Santa Claus appearances even though the pain was getting worse. I ignored it and carried on regardless. I opted for working through the discomfort and doing something about it after the holidays. I wanted to keep going for the many children (and grown ups) I greet as the jolly red guy. Here is my story. A story of bullying in the workplace that I have shared with so many who have been the target of either isolation, humiliation, intimidation and ridicule. Those 4 points are the main factors of victimization in the world of employment. Workplace Bullying still stands today as an epidemic that has not enough recognition or denied that it actually exists.
