Miniature painting I did for my very dear friend 
. It was a birthday surprise, as my friend has received it by now, showing it here should be save.
Acrylic on paper, 85mm x 35mm. The background is gold patina, it doesn't quite show in the photo. I have uploaded another view, unframed, here: [link]
I should add, I am generally not a big friend of heavy gold frames (there are exceptions of course), but in miniature art they are perfect. They do look like little gems!
