He is from a rich household and has no siblings, and was raised by a Japanese nanny - art’s aunt -who was the only one that actually paid attention to him. She introduced him to anime and manga. By the age of 10 he was half able to speak Japanese, he would have been fluent in it if his nanny wasn’t fired. His father thought that anime and manga made him stupider, but in reality John just became so obsess with anime that he became one of the weebs. John is still smarter than the rest of his classmates in his Texan high school. He tried to stay in contact with his nanny but feeling that the boy needed more friends his age and gave him Art’s email. He became pen pals with the American weeb and they taught each other their native tongues. After a while the two grew out of touch because of life. John became focus in sports because of his father’s desire for him to be a major football player but at night John streams the internet to look up anime and started to draw. Apparently he became a famous online mangaka in Japan.
When John was able to get back in contact with Art’s aunt he now knows where is Japanese wife is and applied to Hoshino! Now he can’t wait to meet his wife…. But his wife.. is actually a BOY DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN.
