Description
After the world government (SHAPE) disbanded, both Europe (CROSS) and Africa (SPEAR) retained some ties in the form of defensive pact and trade agreements with the Human Elite in SPEAR maintaining their power throughout the centuries of Anthro population influx with subtle CROSS military aid.
CROSS envoys and diplomats had urged their southern Allies for decades to bring the anthro population to heel by either outright enslavement, deportation or extermination, however, either out of fear of global sanctions and backlash from STAR and ORB or simply out of a sense of decency had tried to walk the middle path, in an attempt to ride out the storm in hopes that the anthro population would eventually stabilize itself.
Despite their warnings not being heeded, CROSS sent military aid to SPEAR during the ORB invasion out of a sense of obligation to defend what they considered the only other human culture not yet completely corrupted by anthrokind.

ADJUST! SABOT! UP! ON THE WAY!!
(Old commands I remember as a tanker)
ADJUST was the commander saying to the gunner to adjust his aim.
SABOT…low mass uranium dart of tank destroying mayhem. 80 pounds traveling at 5,500 feet per second.
UP was the loader saying the gun is loaded.
ON THE WAY! Gunner pulled the trigger.
