I had an epiphany earlier this year and realized that social media, since the pandemic, has gotten worse. Meanwhile, DA's Eclipse, launched in 2020, ruined the experience; my views and faves tanked. The site's new "Mature Content" bot system, launched last November, sealed my fate as a user. I've also shut down my Instagram, Newgrounds, and Twitter accounts.
After over 11 years on here, my time on DA is over. I had no idea this would happen, but it did. I'm not deactivating my account nor having my work in storage; I chose to keep them up for all to see as an archive as long as DA continues to exist; I now have new responsibilities in life.
