Keep in mind that I find the DA custom of thanking people for their 
to be rather bizarre and time-wasting. I mean, YouTubers don't typically go to the discussion page on the profile of whoever liked their video to say thanks, nor do Quorans PM everyone who upvotes their answers. One or two is fine—with several, it gets annoying.
BTW, I don't block people. On any social media site. This is why. So don't be afraid to tell me something.

So... what did I get done in DeviantArt this year? Well, I managed to submit one deviation at the very end of the year (3 if you count my Lenin diss journal and its meme), which compares unfavorably to the four that I had submitted last year. As I promised in my Merry Christmas 2024 journal, I'll explain what happened, for better or for worse, that ultimately balanced to make this happen... but, only in very brief for now. Terribly sorry, I'm exceptionally tired, but I absolutely have enough time and energy to do so on the very near future.
To put it simply, the effects that were accumulating by the time I wrote my New Years 2024 post eventually decayed my mood enough to make me suicidal (), and I was institutionalized for a long time twice where they revoked or limited my access to electronics—in the first, from February 1ˢᵗ to the 14ᵗʰ at the University of Vermont Medical Center's Shephardson 6 ward, they diagnosed me with OCD and depressive disorder

...well, I can't really say much different to what I said in last year's Merry Christmas 2023 journal—in fact, unlike last year I have not submitted a single non-Journal deviation so far this year —but there are (new) circumstantial reasons behind that, and there has been progress on my perennial technical, mental, and other problems that prevent me from attaining professional or personal self-actualization, which I will report on my New Years 2025 journal.
Again, I had a quite nice Christmas celebration with my maternal extended family this year—better in some ways and worse in other ways compared to last year, but don't let the "worse" fool you into thinking it was a bad experience.
Anyway, I hope you have had a Merry Christmas, too! ... or for my Jewish audience, are having a happy Hanukkah! ✡️ Or, just a Happy Holidays!

Although I considered it, I didn't give a Gold Bar to @Mobiyuz because he already had 2 of the badge, and when I give out badges I prioritize people who don't have them at all (because for most badges, one isn't meaningfully distinct from a million). 
Also, by the time of your recommendations, doing so was impossible as the offer only extended to 2024-08-31 23:59 PDT. 
Of potential relevance, unlike with the previous badges where my delay on giving them out to near the last minute was mainly due to my procrastination, I didn't do so earlier this time because of technical issues—my laptop stopped responding to being charged on August 6ᵗʰ, it took until August 30ᵗʰ for it to be repaired, and I was occupied August 30ᵗʰ and most of August 31ˢᵗ. I didn't even know about what DeviantArt's 24ᵗʰ Birthday event was until that day. As a result, while I had valiantly attempted to use almost all my Fragments (as this heralded the death of the fragments system) and give the badge to most everyone lacking it that was vaguely meaningful to me on this platform, I was still left with 263 out of 4055 and missed a few people like @Creaciones-Jean and @Ofbooksandballpoints. 
(Oh sorry, @Ofbooksandballpoints {if you still lurk here}, I just noticed I actually did give you a Gold Bar badge.
