Andrei and his team managed to complete their own secret mission. Capturing a monster which is bigger than what Arthur had captured. It is not part of the organisation's plan. Andrei desires to prove that his team is more capable than Arthur's.
When they were about to leave the area where they captured the monster, one of Andrei's teammates saw a bunny as if it was following them. It was adorable. Andrei warned him not to bring the bunny to the facility. He insisted on capturing the bunny. Andrei wanted to return to the facility as soon as possible. He sighed and let him take the bunny.
"It is just a harmless, little bunny..."

Yeah, harmless my foot, hee! Nice atmospheric situation. The bunny almost adds a level of absurdity if it wasn't such a running theme.
