Bastet, sister/twin to Sekhmet. Bastet is traditionally known as “The Perfumed One” and her image was used on perfume vessels. She is also the playfully sexual goddess, among other things. She is counterpoint to Sekhmet’s ferocity and rage, even though she is a protector of pregnant women, children, and cats. Just like any cat she is playful, but has a bite!
